All Locations Shed Engineering FAQs
Do you provide shed engineering in my area?
We provide shed engineering across every Australian state and territory — Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and the ACT. Our remote engineering process means we can design for any location — we use site-specific wind region data, terrain assessment from satellite imagery, and local council knowledge to produce compliant designs for your exact location.
Do you need to visit my site?
In most cases, no. We can produce complete engineering documentation remotely using your site information, satellite imagery for terrain assessment, and local council requirements. For complex sites (steep slopes, unusual ground conditions), a site visit may be recommended but is rarely essential.
How does remote engineering work?
You provide your requirements (shed size, purpose, location, any specific features). We assess your site's wind region, terrain category, and council requirements remotely. We produce complete structural drawings, shop drawings, calculations, and certificate of compliance — delivered digitally. If council has questions, we handle them directly.
What information do I need to provide?
Shed size (length, width, eave height), purpose (machinery, hay, workshop, etc.), site address, any specific requirements (roller doors, crane, mezzanine, open sides). A site plan showing the proposed shed location relative to boundaries and existing buildings is helpful but not essential at quote stage.
